About Me
I am a dedicated human services professional with over 30 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities, specializing in quality improvement, quality assurance, and systems development. As a former District of Columbia Government employee with the Department on Disability Services (DDS), I served as a Quality Improvement (Resource) Specialist, where I was responsible for advancing quality initiatives, monitoring service delivery, and supporting continuous performance improvement across programs.
I hold LRA certification as an investigator and have extensive expertise in quality assurance, policy and procedure development, compliance monitoring, and the design and implementation of quality improvement tools and resources. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with stakeholders at all levels to strengthen organizational performance, promote person-centered practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
My professional experience is grounded in developing practical solutions that improve service quality, enhance accountability, and support positive outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities. I bring a strong commitment to excellence, strategic problem-solving, and fostering continuous quality improvement within human services organizations.

Complete quality check for personnel, training, two person centered record reviews (which includes progress notes and quarterly reports) to provide guidance in areas where improvement is needed.
Review of Quality Assurance Policy, Plan, and Tools to Ensure Monitoring Per Waiver Regulations. This review evaluates the organization’s Quality Assurance (QA) policy, implementation plan, and monitoring tools to confirm compliance with applicable waiver regulations and to strengthen oversight of service delivery. The assessment includes a focused audit of two representative client records to validate documentation practices, service accuracy, and adherence to individual service plans and regulatory requirements.
